Symbolism

Three astronauts are going to the moon. The three astronauts are Phil, Bryan, and Mark. While they are one their way to the moon, an engine on their ship malfunctions. Bryan decides he is going to try to fix it. Phil says that is is too dangerous and that it is not protocol. Mark says that they should look at the engine in the camera and see if it is repairable. Both Bryan and Phil agree with Mark. In the camera, they see that it is beyond repair and would be deadly for any of them to go down there. After that, they decide to contact base so someone can rescue them. Once they communicate with the base, a ship is sent up to retrieve them.
In this story, Bryan represents the id, Mark represents the ego, and Phil represents the superego of Individual Psychology.
