Perry picked a plump berry.
It was a very hairy berry;
Larry wanted Perry's berry.
He tried to take it,
The berry plopped on the floor.
Perry was very mad at Larry.
Larry apologized for ruining the berry.
Perry accepted the apology.
Larry and Perry continued to be friends,
And they all lived happily ever after.
Tools or Techniques: Assonance, Alliteration, and End-Stopped Line
I liked all of the words that rhymed and some of them are tongue twisters! Larry rhymed with Perry, and so on. I also liked how you used berry for the end of first 3 lines, but it did not sound repetitive. Great work!
ReplyDeleteI like that you rhymed the names. I like how there was a story to the poem as well.
